Three names from three eras sharing one small number
Judah's youngest son. Because he was kept aside too long, the story of Tamar began.
Dov Ber, 1704–1772, successor of the Baal Shem Tov. He rarely left his room, but nearly every Hasidic dynasty of the next century traces itself back to the students he sent out from it.
The sixteenth US president. He led the country through the civil war and signed the proclamation freeing the slaves.
