Three names from three eras sharing one small number
The prophet taken up in a chariot of fire. He is also the one who heard God not in the wind or the fire, but in a still small voice.
1910–1995, Jerusalem. He worked out halakhah for a world of electricity, hospitals and transplants — calmly, and without fear of the new.
