About us

We make sure any claim can be checked.

We are a small independent team in Israel. We started with gematria and the Torah and arrived at a simple idea: a number, a quote, a price or a chatbot's words should be checkable by anyone, without taking our word for it.

Who we are

SAPIR 861 was founded by Nugzari Pichkhadze. It is a research site on gematria and the structure of the Torah text, and a technology studio, 861 Research & Technology. We write our own code, build our own data and stand behind every number on the site.

Two directions

SAPIR 861

Gematria of names and words by the Torah. The 861 × 354 structure follows the edition “Chumash 354” (Bnei Brak, 2002); the text is the Leningrad Codex (Westminster, CC BY 4.0). 25 counting methods, 8 languages. No predictions and no judgements about people — only the count and the source.

861 Research & Technology

Business bots that don't mix up prices. Proof Kit checks AI answers before they reach a customer and keeps a signed log. Robot Proof is a log for robots built for the 2027 EU requirements.

Our goal

In a world where more and more text is written by AI, people and companies need a simple way to show: this is what we claim, this is the evidence, this is who changed it and when. First on our own site, then for anyone who wants it.

How we work

  1. Every claim comes with a source. What isn't proven is marked as such.
  2. We fix mistakes in public: the /claims page and the signed /log.
  3. Anyone can dispute a claim — there is a button on /claims.
  4. Data and code are open: Zenodo and GitHub.
  5. We don't promise what can't be checked. No fortune-telling, no predictions.
