The SAPIR 861 app
This is not a program from an app store. It is the site itself: it installs as an icon on your home screen and opens like an app — no address bar, full screen — and pages you have already opened stay readable without a network.
What it gives you
- An icon on the home screen — one tap to a calculation.
- No address bar and no tabs: only the text is left.
- Pages you have already opened are readable offline.
- Nothing is downloaded into storage: it takes under a megabyte.
If the button does nothing. Then the browser has already installed it, or it does not support installing. On iPhone it is done by hand — the three steps below.
On iPhone and iPad (Safari)
- Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.
- Choose “Add to Home Screen”.
- Tap “Add” — the icon appears on your screen.
On Android (Chrome)
- Open the three-dot menu at the top right.
- Choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
- Confirm — the icon appears on your screen.
