Three names from three eras sharing one small number
An interpreter of dreams at the Babylonian court. He went on praying at an open window when it was forbidden on pain of the lions' den.
Israel ben Eliezer, 1698–1760. Founder of Hasidism. He taught that a simple person praying from the heart stands no lower than a scholar, and that joy is not the reward for service but the manner of it.
A student of Socrates who founded the Academy, a school that ran for nine centuries.
