Three names from three eras sharing one small number
Abraham's father. He set out for Canaan but stopped halfway and settled in Haran.
1895–1986. He came from Belarus to New York and became the man the world wrote to with questions that had no precedent: artificial respiration, a lift on the Sabbath, an inheritance.
Spanish surrealist who made his own persona part of the art. His melting clocks became the emblem of a whole movement.
