The number of your name

Salavat (סלבט) — Salavat comes from the Arabic word salawat, “prayers of blessing”.
And the same number belongs to the Torah word יצא — “to go out”.

Your word in the Torah

The word יצא — “to go out” — has the same number as your name. Here is the verse where it first appears:

ונהר יצא מעדן להשקות את הגן ומשם יפרד והיה לארבעה ראשים
Genesis 2:10

The verse of your name

Neither the Pentateuch nor the whole Tanakh has a verse that begins with ס and ends with ט. That happens with some letter pairs and means nothing in itself.

The week you were born

Add your date of birth and we will show which portion the world was reading the week you appeared, and whether it holds a word of your number.

How to read your number

Fact. The letters of the name סלבט add up to 101. Plain addition — you can check it yourself.

Meaning. There is a Torah word with the same number — יצא (“to go out”). A matching sum does not mean the word is 'about you'; it is a reason to look at what in it matters to you.

A question for yourself. What in this do you recognise in yourself — and what would you like to strengthen?

Practice. This week: open the verse of your name, read it slowly three times and write down one thought that stays with you.

סלבט
In short
Your name in Hebrew letters is סלבט. Salavat comes from the Arabic word salawat, “prayers of blessing”. Salavat Yulaev (1754–1800) is the national hero of the Bashkir people, and the name is common in Bashkortostan and Tatarstan. In Hebrew it is written by sound. Adding up the numbers of its letters gives 101 — the same as the Torah word יצא, “to go out”. That number points to Torah page 101 of 354 — in the portion Vaera. What that portion is about: “And I appeared”: the promise of redemption in four expressions; the first seven plagues, from blood to hail. Each of these steps is laid out below with its sources. Every figure can be checked by hand.
You wrote “Salavat” — this exact spelling is what was calculated: סלבט. Spelled by the Academy of the Hebrew Language rules for foreign names. If your name is spelled differently, correct the Hebrew spelling and the report is recomputed.
Adding up the letters of the name סלבט gives 101.

The number 101 is the Torah word יצא — «to go out» (Genesis 1:12).

הוּא אַהֲרֹן וּמֹשֶׁה אֲשֶׁר אָמַר ה׳ לָהֶם הוֹצִיאוּ אֶת־בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם עַל־צִבְאֹתָם
These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom HaShem said: 'Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their hosts.'
This is from the portion Vaera. What it is about: “And I appeared”: the promise of redemption in four expressions; the first seven plagues, from blood to hail.

Other ways of counting

The letters that come out are חכשנ — not a word that stands in the Pentateuch. Atbash: letters mirrored, alef for tav, bet for shin, and the number of the resulting word — 378. A Torah word with the same number is שבוע — “week” (Genesis 29:27).
Filling: the names of the letters are counted — alef, bet, gimel… (milui) — 1025.
