Three names from three eras sharing one small number
Prince of the tribe of Judah, first to bring his offering at the dedication. By tradition, the first to step into the sea.
An exile from Spain who settled in Safed and composed the Shulchan Aruch — the code the Jewish world still lives by.
He showed that microbes cause disease and made the rabies vaccine. The process still applied to milk carries his name.
