Three names from three eras sharing one small number
Joseph's younger son, whom his grandfather blessed with the right hand ahead of the elder — and did so deliberately.
Moshe Schreiber, 1762–1839, Pressburg. He answered the pressure of the new century with a formula that became a slogan for a whole camp, and at the same time built the yeshiva that supplied central Europe with rabbis for a generation.
In two plague years of quarantine he set out the laws of motion and gravitation. He himself said he stood on the shoulders of giants.
