Three names from three eras sharing one small number
The first man, whose name comes from adamah, earth. He was given the task of naming every living thing.
A rabbi and doctor of philosophy who taught in New York. He wrote of the person who at once masters the world and seeks meaning in it.
A doctor and educator who wrote about the rights of the child long before they became law. He refused rescue and went with the children of his orphanage to the end.
What connects them
For all three the main thing became visible at the end: the sum turned out larger than any single act.
