למה זה נחוץ

ברשת מסתובבים אלפי משפטים שמיוחסים לאיינשטיין, לגנדי, לתנ״ך או לתלמוד. רבים מהם לא נכתבו מעולם. הבדיקה לוקחת שניות ומציגה את הטקסט עצמו, לא סיכום שלו.

איך זה עובד

הטקסט מנורמל: בלי ניקוד, בלי סימני פיסוק ובלי הבדלי כתיב. אחר כך מתבצע חיפוש באינדקס טקסט מלא. כל קטע שנמצא מגיע עם שם הספר, המקום בו, קישור למקור והרישיון.

מה הבדיקה לא יודעת

היא מוצאת מילים, לא משמעות. אם ציטוט קיים רק בתרגום שאינו בקורפוס, התשובה תהיה ״לא נמצא״. זה לא מוכיח שאיש לא אמר זאת; זה אומר שבספרים שלנו זה לא מופיע.
